Dog Boarding Policies and Hours
Please note that all of our Sacramento dog boarding guests must be well socialized with other dogs and people.
*Pre-Booking Policy: Please be aware that to insure that all our dog guests are safe, healthy, and compatible sharing our “home-style” ranch environment, no bookings can be made without first attending an informal “meet and greet” at our facility with you and your dog.
Dog Boarding Rates: Contact us for current rates, or this will also be covered at your “Pre-Booking” appointment”. We do require a 20% non-refundable deposit for holding reservations on major holiday periods, and this deposit will be applied toward your scheduled boarding stay.
Doggie Day Camp: Dogs in the Doggie Day Camp program (call for current rates) after arriving, may stay in Doggie Day Camp for the duration of our operating hours for that day. Our Doggy Day Camp hours are Mon – Friday 7am to 6 pm Dogs staying past 6:00 pm are billed the overnight rate. (Day Camp is offered weather permitting at this rate. If you need to place your dog in Day Camp on rainy days, we bill the overnight rate.)

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Sunday: Open for checkin/checkouts at 8am-10am , and 4pm -5pm only – or by prearranged appointment ( and with an additional fee)

All Major holidays: Dog boarding is available, but we are closed to the public on all holidays.
Guests may check-in during operating hours by appointment. Daily boarding fees are assessed on a calendar day basis

Dogs Life Boarding is specifically designed for small dogs, however, as all dogs are evaluated for temperament prior to becoming a guest, we can accommodate dogs up to 30lbs.
All guests must show proof of current vaccinations at the time they come for their pre-booking evaluation, and please note that all our dogs guests must be spayed or neutered.
We ask our guests to bring their regular food, enough to last for the duration of their visit. Guests are also welcome to bring their beds or blankets so they can feel at home.
